Using career pathways

As an advisory board for the Career and Techincal education department at Coventry High School, how can the career pathways be utilized better as a tool to help the students develop their pathways for their school career? When should this be discussed, can board members come in and help, is it just guidance or should the CTE teachers be the only ones responsible?
